Seven games that you must play

So many video games and so little time. Which game to play now and which later? Well, if you are having trouble making the right decision and don’t know where to start, we might have some suggestions for you. Released in the past few years, you must try these seven games.

Resident Evil 7 (2017)

With the seventh installment of their horror game series, Capcom has set a new standard in the horror genre. Resident Evil 7 breaks with many of the traditions of its predecessors, so it is now played in the first-person perspective instead of the third. The story was also subjected to a soft reboot so that Resident Evil 7 is also accessible to new players. In the game itself, we investigate the story of the Baker family who live on a farm in rural America. We are constantly plagued by a lack of resources, which only makes the grandiose atmosphere denser. An atmosphere that you have to experience for yourself.

Dark Souls 3 (2016)

Another game that also relies on a dark ambience is Dark Souls 3 by From Software. As usual from the series, Dark Souls 3 makes it clear to you that you will die and that often. As it seems to be usual with the Souls series, this game is also tough and difficult, but once you have defeated the first boss, the feeling is indescribable. From Software managed to perfect the Souls formula in the last part.

Stardew Valley (2016)

One of the best RPG farming simulators out there. Stardew Valley is a breath of fresh air. If you need escape from the worries of the real world and want to immerse yourself in a game which is both wholesome and entertaining then you have made the right choice. It is not just a farming simulator, it also allows you to mingle with the locals, explore the valley, take part in all the funny and mysterious storylines it has to offer. Most of fun of it all is the tons of easter eggs and secrets hidden in the game. Even simple stuff like Stardew Valley Favorite thing at the start of the game can hold secrets. What that is, is for you to find out when you play the game yourself.

Fallout New Vegas (2010)

One of the most influential role-playing games in recent years. Fallout New Vegas from Obsidian Entertainment is particularly impressive with its open game world, which exploded with side missions and details. A great story that captivates the screen and offers many choices. They are now classics that are used as the standard for other games. If you want to experience a dynamic world, with great attention to detail, then Fallout New Vegas is your game.

Battlefield 1 (2016)

Battlefield 1 was one of the most significant shooters of the decade. A game whose action takes place in the 1st World War and which has thus single-handedly opposed the dominance of the modern and 2nd World War shooters. DICE scored points both in single player with a great campaign that relies on episodes and takes you from the Arabian Peninsula to the Western Front, as well as in a terrific multiplayer. Especially the multiplayer, which is huge, has excited many gamers, it is still popular today, although the game is already several years old.

Minecraft (2010)

One of the most popular games of the last few years, Minecraft itself is a game that relies entirely on your own creativity and offers complete freedom. In principle, Minecraft could be called digital Lego, everything is presented in blocks from which you can build your own creations. It had such an impact that countless clones were developed, creating the survival genre.

Borderlands 3 (2019)

Another great addition to the Borderlands series, its third iteration was all that fans were expecting from the developers. The game has everything, more worlds to explore, new threats to deal with, cults and corporations to fight against. The new weapons and armor are absolutely insane and if you don’t want to wait to test them out you can always use Borderlands 3 Save Editor. For those of you who don’t know what BL3 Save Editor is, it allows you to edit save files and customize your character however you like.
