Unblocking the person is on SnapChat is different than unblocking a person on other social apps.

When you will block a person on SnapChat, it hides their accounts from you and vice versa. It means that you can’t search the person by their name and unblock them. Instead, you have to take a different approach. To unblock someone, visit your account settings and access your list of blocked users.

Step # 1

Open Your SnapChat App

Step # 2

Tap your user icon or Bitmoji icon located on the top left corner. It will take you to your Snapchat Account Options.

Step # 3

To access the Account Settings, tap the gear option located on the top right corner.

Step # 4

Now, scroll down to Account Actions, and tap the Blocked option from the menu.

Step # 5

Tap the X button that appears to the right of the username of the person you wish to unblock.

Step # 6

It will confirm with you if you want to unblock the SnapChat user. Tap Yes if you want to unblock them.

Step # 7

Once you’ve unblocked someone, they will then disappear from your Blocked list.

You can now find them by typing in their Username in the Search option of SnapChat.

What to Do Once You Unblock Someone on SnapChat?

When you block someone from the SnapChat list, they automatically get removed from your friend list. Hence, when you unblock that person, you might’ve to re-add the person back as a friend.

If you want to add someone back on your SnapChat, just type their username into the search field and tap the + Add Button which appears on the right of their profile picture and username.

Once, both of you have added each other back, you can go back to SnapChatting each other all over again.
